GMC WESTERN STATES is a chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) and draws its membership mainly from the 11 western states and 3 western provinces of Canada. The chapter purpose is to promote the preservation of the GMC motorhome, with technical programs of professional seminars, and to further the mutual association, enjoyment and common interest of GMC motorhome owners. We implement this objective by holding two rallies (we call them roundups) each year and publishing news- letters with technical support and items of interest four times yearly.

Roundups are typically held in the spring and fall and have been held in many interesting places such as Mt Hood, Oregon; San Diego, Ca.; Prescott, AZ.; Bryce Canyon, Utah; Albuquerque, NM.; Hope, BC.; and Colorado Springs, CO. Often optional bus tours are arranged to take advantage of local areas of interest.

To see and experience from seventy five to one hundred and fifty of these coaches all coming together in a group, to meet and get to know many others with a similar interest, to share potlucks, travel experiences and to enjoy a great variety of seminars, both technical and non technical, is an experience not soon to be forgotten.
